Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to you and wait expectantly.
… for the Lord has heard my weeping. The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord will answer my prayer.
Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you…., He does not ignore the cries of those who suffer.
Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge. I said to him, “You are my Lord! I have no other help but yours.”
One the day when I was the weakest, they attacked …, but the Lord supported me. He led me to a place of safety; he rescued me because he delights in me.
God delights in YOU!
Psalm 25:1-2, 4-5
To you, O Lord, I pray. Don’t fail me Lord, I am trusting you!
He goes on to say in verses 4-5;
Show me the right path, O Lord; point out the road for me to follow. Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you.
My eyes are always looking to the Lord for help, for He alone can rescue me. Come Lord, turn to me and have mercy…, I am helpless, overwhelmed with distress, my problems go from bad to worse, Oh, save me from them all!
Don’t be impatient! Wait for the Lord, and he will come and save you…. Yes, wait and he will help you.
The good man does not escape all troubles – he has them too. But the Lord helps him in each and every one.
Does that say that God will sometimes help?
Does it say that God will only help when He feels like it?
No, it says, the Lord helps him in each and every one.
The Lord rescues the godly; he is their fortress in times of trouble. The Lord helps them, because they trust in Him and he delivers them from the plots of evil men, they find shelter in him.
Listen to what God says, I will deliver you!
“O God my rock,” I cry…, O my soul, don’t be discouraged. Don’t be upset. Expect God to act! He is my help! He is my God!
Sometimes, when we are going through a real difficult time, we reduce God to the size of our biggest problem.
Sometimes we see our problems as SO BIG, and because we focus so much on the problem, we act as if God as so small.
God is so much greater than any problem you will ever face.
He is so much greater than any difficulty.
There is no need to fear when times of trouble comes…
He continues his point over in chapter 50, verse 14-15;
